You may or may not see an email in your account from your domain Team with the subject line:

"A new settings file for the your.mail@address.co.nz has just be released"
"Dear use of the "your domain" mailing service!

We are informing you that because of the security upgrade of the mailing service your mailbox your.mail@address.co.nz settings were changed. In order to apply the new set of settings open this file: link to executable"

Please note that it has a link to an executable file. Please don't click that link. It has nothing to do with HostingNZ and in all likelihood, the executable is some sort of virus.

We are in the process of identifying the issue, but as with all spam email, it pays to be cautious.

An obvious flag for this particular email is the bad grammar.
Note too, that HostingNZ will never send any emails with executable attachments.

If you are unsure of any emails, please just delete them then empty your trash folder.
